A Brief History
Benny Chan Network officially opened on August 8th, 2008. Benny has been and still is one of my favourite artists around - he can act, he can sing, and he has the looks. I admit, I obsess over many actors and actresses but Benny is definetly an exception. I've been a fan of Benny ever since I watched Gods of Honour, which has become one of my all time favourite series. There's this one scene that I particularly remember, the scene where Benny and his mother convinced his father not to commit suicide. That one scene turned me into a solid Benny fan. So why didn't I start a Benny Chan fansite earlier? I believe the site would've opened earlier if Benny didn't make his way into the Mainland, China market in which he was very successful. Since my Mandarin isn't that great, it's quite difficult for me to watch China productions. So that left me hanging and anticipating those rare times when Benny would come back and film a TVB series. Recently, after watching Benny's new TVB series, I really wanted to rewatch some of his older productions. Of course, my first choice was Gods of Honour. After revisiting Benny's series, I decided that I would open a fansite and dedicate it to him - Benny Chan Network!
